Heat-Treatable Steels

Quenched and tempered steels are alloy and non-alloy machine manufacturing steels whose chemical compositions, particularly their carbon content, make them suitable for hardening, and which exhibit a high toughness property at a specific tensile strength after the quenching and tempering process. Due to the superior mechanical properties they acquire after the quenching and tempering process, these steels constitute a significant portion of machine-manufactured parts, including various machinery and engine components, forged parts, nuts, bolts and studs, crankshafts, axles, control and drive components, piston rods, various shafts, gears, and shaft manufacturing.
